Well its that time again Tax and insurance renewals unlike some of my fellow members I have no problem with the premium I pay and it as been that way for a number of years with the same crowd 'Churchill' .My problem now is I cannot Tax my Lexus online because unlike its predeseccor the tax and insurance renewal come up on the same month ending .I am told by the very unhelpful DVLA should this be the case I have to physically traipse 25 mile to the post office and wait in line for half an hour whilst I used to be able to do it in the comfort of my office.

Stupid system error and shows how thick these people really are.

I solved this problem by going to the Post Office and manually licensing my car for 6 months only. In this manner I got the dates suitably out of phase. It's a hassle I know . . .but this is the only way I know to get round it.

Deleted that reply as I had'nt realized you were putting a six month interphase then going back to annual tax .
