Sign In Box Dissapeared From Page

Can someone tell me how to retrieve the sign in box that is supposed to sit on the top of the page ,I have not been able to find how to sign in without this feature. I cannot reply to any posts and have acheived this post through starting a new post.

Have you magnified your page ? if so hold down the ctrl button and then hit the minus key till it reappears.
