Extended Warranty

Hi all

I have been reading these forums having just bought a 220d I rang my local Lexus dealer in Newcastle wanting to know what work has been done to my car during the conversation I mentioned about the extended 7 year warranty on these cars and they said it isn't 7 years now its 5, I asked what this covered and was told just to contact them if anything went wrong but no guarantee the car would be repaired under the extended warranty.

So the bottom line is 5 years now not 7

That's a bit off!!

Might be worth asking a one or two other dealerships. I see no reason for the warranty to suddenly change.
