Mate have you never heard of Tony Bones aka the Doctor at WIM (Wheels in Motion)?

http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/tyres-wheels-lexus.php

It's pretty common knowledge across Lexus forums that the Lexus set up is flawed giving premature inner tyre wear. Tony went about correcting it. There are many many threads on this subject on the first generation IS on LOC

Yes, but there are a good number of IS owners in Scotland and this guy has the necessary settings, and half the price. This forum is to help owners and i for one would have welcomed the settings and a location a lot nearer to home! Ormi in Edinburgh pointed me in this direction and has given lots of useful tips over the years I've been on this site.

The new settings really did transform the handling, he assured me the revised settings would also help with mpg figures quite markedly.

I also got my car aligned by Wullie at CLCM back in July and would highly recommend others going there. The settings were all over the place beforehand and had caused me to go through two sets of rear tyres in about 12000mls.

As soon as I drove home I could feel the difference. It felt like the car was gliding over the road surface.

Who do your recommend in the South West or Southern England in general??

I live in Bath and I made the trip over to WIM in Buckinghamshire because of their reputation.

Hi guys, i found this thread by chance and have to say thanks for the kind words..... Back to the point though, the front settings are fine albeit a little messy but what the hell is going on at the rear? They have dialled out all the camber?

They sorted mine out earlier this year after wasting money at two other places who just robbed me of my money. Even if you have to travel a long distance, Tony is the person to sort your tracking without any dramas. Tony Bones aka the Doctor at WIM (Wheels in Motion) Mike.

WIM have just sorted mine. It was a 2 hour round trip but worth it.

Well done. You sometimes have to go the extra miles to get the service your Lexus deserves. Mike.
