Ordinary member of the public Andrew Osborne snapped doing 157mph. Sentenced to 28 days in Woodhill (Category A) prison and banned for two years.

Woodhill is a high security prison that houses murderers, dangerous psycopaths, rapists and other sexual offenders.

Being a celeb pays in more ways than one I guess...

my friends son got 6 months for stealing and some other stuff.. he was sent to an open house.. they could walk into town and do what they like..

They will hold you in the top prison for a week then move you to a less secured prison.

So no i dont think it's a case of buy bottled soap instead of a bar of slippery soap!

my friends sons comment was " it's a doddle in here" bear in mind he is 19

Osborne was sent to Woodhill pending transfer but they decided it wasn't worth transferring him as his sentence was 'short'. He spent the first three days in the Induction Wing at Woodhill, before being moved to the short stay wing. When interviewed upon being released, he said he spent as little time outside the cell as possible!

With any luck he didn't have to play 'Hide the loofah' :o

I recall Jenson was driving a diesel BMW because, over in France, you're only allowed to drive diesels when under 21. Says something for how diesel performance has come on, but I still think it will be a sad day when there's a diesel Lexus... :ban-em:

What's it to be diesel or Nos?

The Deisel is coming out next year though so I fear it is inevitable....

I understand that half the cars in this sector are estates now too. hence Jag bringing out an X type Estate. I don't like them personally but I think they should have done an aston martin jobbie and called it a "shooting brake" no idea where that comes from but it sound much better than "estate" and even "Sports Cross". THe Sports cross should be 4x4 in my humble (but accurate) oppinion. just so it has a competitive edge...

ANy thoughts?

Ps. A standard Nos option on any lexus would be against the brand imagel but would be really cool. TTE, are you listening?? :mat:

Yeah, what is that with the "shooting brake" name? As AM don't have a type-approved 'estate', I believe prospective owners have to buy a standard car and then immediately hand it back to AM's Works Service dept and have it chopped in half and extended - cRaZy

Interesting that the sector demands an estate. I see what you mean about a 4x4 sportscross as an advantgae, a 4x4 saloon would be nice too ;-)

the term 'shooting brake' comes from their first estate.. which the made for the customer who needed an extra big boot for their shotguns for pheasant shooting..

Daft, but true...

OK, call me pedantic, but how come then it's "brake" and not "break"? :hehe:

Does this mean the 'Sportcross' should infact be the 'Ikea' for those that need the extra space for the trip back from Ikea? :D
