CD changer interface !!!!!

It's a USB digital interface totally controllable by the head unit and plugs into the big plug (old skool) CD changer plug

What do the plugs look like for the CD changer on a MK4 LS400

It took me 2 minutes to google "Lexus CD Changer" and I came up wih the details on the link below showing the 2 plug types used on Lexus/Toyota vehicles. :)

I assume if you use this it means you cannot get the normal CD holder in if you use this system

I use a Maplins £12.99 cassette adaptor with my MP3 plugged in.

Cassette Adpator works well, and sounds as good as one of these devices, as the metal head in the adaptor meets the metal head in the cassette player, so the bass and the treble all sounds fine and dandy.

I am fussy about sound quality, and must say I thought 12 quid a better buy.

I did try a Sony adaptor and it was rubbish, sounded like someone stirring eggshells in the head unit.

It also means I can drag along 6 CD's for ultimate late night audio experience, or when the MP3 juice goes and I left the power cable at home.

Grom audio make an adapter that piggy backs to the CD changer connection and allows the use of USB sticks with MP3 and has an AUX line in. It lets you still use the CD changer or itself and if your LS has steering audio controls they still work fine.

I understand you have a LS430 will this work for the LS400 too ??
