Spar Wheel Hole Full Off Water?

before going on holiday I checked the spar wheel all ok , to day removed the wheel to make room , collecting a new set ,about 3 to 4 inches of water but nothing around it is wet any ideas, plus when on hols it was in a covered car park?

Hi the boot seal is leaking, Common problem remove it clean all around , run a bead of silicone around the metal lip replace seal job done. If you leave the car parked facing down hill the problem is worse as the water pools in the corners.

There is as in the spare wheel wheel area a rubber bung in the bottom, simply push it through and recover it from under the car to refit once the area has dried out, you should also see the sunroof drain pipes in the same area make sure they are located correctly.

IIRC one goes through the boot floor via a grommet the other feeds into the air vent just make sure they haven't been pulled out of position filling up the boot area with water, the other side also has this set up so maybe worth checking also.
