Hello Everyone,

New member to the Lexus scene.

Bought about 8 weeks ago a bone stock IS 300 2001. (Quite a rare car here in Sweden) Fully loaded with satnav etc, except for sunroof :(

Work is ongoing. I have bought a set of TTE Coil Overs, front strut bar. And oh, came across a set of TTE 18". I believe they are called "Grand Prix"? Left them yesterday for blaster and paint. Also found out that the car has JL Audios OEM Interface processing stuff in the trunk, but the stereo needs some work... Never seen this stuff so it´s quite messy :/

So yeah...eveything is waiting to get installed! Time is not enough honestly, i have a big resto ongoing for my other car, a Corvette, as well...

Anyways, a few pics of her that i thought i could share... !

Thanks Ian!

Yeah well.. Theres only 42 registered IS 300 sedans in the country so they are very rare here. Girlfriend just had one demand, not a red car. Guess i´m good a talking he he ;)

I honestly don´t know too much about these wheels...TTE´s for sure..but never seen them in Sweden, definately not in 18" at least! Maybe you could shed some light? :)

I don´t know how many of the 42 cars that are red. But probably not many of them. I like rare stuff! So reading the TTE wheels are rare makes me even more satisfied :) Thanks for your input about the wheels!

What would be nice is to have a spare TTE Grand Prix to match, and the good news is an 18 wheel with a 225/40 18 tyre fits in the spare wheel space in the boot

Or, sell me your tte wheels ;)

Love my is300 but I would have liked nav, but I do have a sunroof :-)

HoodRich: I´m working on it, trying to make it more unique.

Rory, Wanna trade the sunroof for my navi?? :iraqi-info-minister:

Actually, i have been saving my 19" wheels for 5- years now, only to fin out the fact that they where too wide. ANd i stumbled across the TTE´s and founf another red IS with them on and really liked them. Good thing they seem to be quite rare and sought after :)

Robert - those wheels look REALLY good....makes me regret not making mine that colour when I recently refurbished them!

Don't go modifying it too much. In my opinion....the IS200/300 looks really good in its standard form. It's just a naturally beautiful car as it rolls out the factory! Subtle changes are best I would say :-)

So fellas! She´s done for this time...

I´ve installed the TTE Coil Overs, BOOZ strutbar and the TTE´s.

It was meant to be in a totally different anthracite grey colour and i was chocked when i saw them for the first time. At first i got scared ****less, but after installing them, they kind of start growing on me a little bit. Photo is taken with Iphone and during dusk, so the Picture doesn´t do justice.

What do you guys Think?

I think this is my favorite IS .... The best I have seen. Perfect colour, perfect stance, perfect rims, perfect condition. Wish mine could look this good!

Guys guys, you make me blush!!!!

It really can´t be that perfect......?

I appreciate your very kind words though :) And i confess that i was extremely lucky to find the TTE Wheels, totally by coincidence.

I´m very pleased with the stance as well. I love the stiffness from the TTE Coils

Here´s another one i took this morning, with the centercaps installed. Enjoy!

Pete - yah, I think we do have similar tastes. To be honest, I think the IS is a perfect looking car. Needs nothing but a good coat of paint, some nice 18's and to be dropped. I dont believe it needs anything more than that. Thats the look I'm going for......just need to put aside some cash for the 18's ;-)

Wish I could be at the meet! :-( Oh well......I will be content with some pics though ;-) Be sure to post some!

Robert --> Seriously man - that is one awesome looking IS you have there. Take good care of it.
