Hi there I'm Jon from Wiltshire I joined as I love my is200 but I'm looking to turbo, supercharge or do a engine conversion but I just cant choose so thought I would do some homework and look it up and get some advise :)

Supercharging is the cheaper option (£2k) if u come across one. If u want a proper jump in bhp with a turbo then internals wud need uprating. Engine swap wud be best if u wanted serious bhp but cud cost a small fortune. All boils down to what power u want and how much u can afford :-)

Thanks for reply to be honest I don't mind if it takes a while to build due to cash I just want a lump I build with some poke was thinking supra lump but I'm also thinking soara v8 supercharged or the twin turbo but not sure how straight forward it would be

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

The Lexus LS400 UCF10 V8 engine has been shoe horned into the IS in the past, there is also a supercharger option for this using the Eaton M90.

Never heard of a Nissan GTR engine being transplanted though.
