I was thinking that. There appears to be another around the same age but with 60,000 and they want £4000.

Wish I was in the market for an is300, but I'm not and yes, at that price, I'd be lucky if he sold it with the wheels . . . . . Lol.

Circumstances have changed for me and I was about to put my S/C on the market for £2500....but I could not bring myself to do it, our lovely camper van is going instead!!

I hope everything is okay. There appear to be a lot of people struggling and the cost of living is still going up. More and more people are are looking to more economical cars and simple cost cutting at home. If and when the time comes, it will be a bitter pill to swallow to say goodbye to the Lexus and wake up with a cheap eco soulless car . . . .

It doesn't bring any extra money in, knowing that your car is only one of 648 of it's kind on the road.

Yes all OK, trying to move house at the moment, and every penny counts! I wonder what the absolute base price would/will be for a really good sportcross? In the past a car like the 200/300 would be a surefire classic, and good ones would be very saleable.....but now lots of people want economical cars (at any cost...Ha!!) will there still be a core of petrolheads....?.

Yes, there will always be petrolheads, but is200/is300 are being sold cheap by those who are not looking after their cars, this is pulling the price of the good ones down.

LS400's older than 1996 are nearly all under a grand. They were nearly £50,000 when new!
