Mk 3 Ls400 For Parts

Hi, if anyone is interested, I discovered a MK3 LS400 in my local scrapyard yesterday. It is still pretty complete, M reg, Astral Black (202) just has front right strut missing. The upholstery is cream, good condition for the year, engine and trans still in it. Full radio and CD changer. It's at Northwich Metals (in Cheshire) 01606 42647, the scrapyard owner is a mate, I told him I would put on here. He's going to leave it alone for a while, so if anyone wants any bits get in touch with him.

M reg MKIII are you sure its a MKIII

Good find, there have been a few in my local scrapyards over the years,one even had a Celsior and a MKII but they tend to keep them only for a short time before crushing them as the demand for parts is low and the price of scrap is high.

I'm after an integration relay for mine at the moment but hopefully a fellow member is working on this for me.

It is rare to find an LS400 in a scrapyard as they seem to end up with the Banger Racing boys.

That said one of the Banger Teams featured in the Sky TV series of the same name was running an LS400.
