Whats The Best None Hybrid / Kit Year Model

Hi Rx chaps i am a Ls driver but looking to add a 4x4 to my collection pref a V8 , i dont know anything about the RXs but would luke a well kitted , none hybrid if thats possible? early years.other wise its X5 or R/Rover

Why would you restrict your choice to either an X5 or RR as the only non hybrid models? There are better cars out there in terms of the specification you get and with equal performance qualities. In fact give me an RX350 over any X5 or RR for the same price. What's your budget? New or used? Petrol or diesel although by you saying V8 you mean diesel? Don't forget that VW did a V10 diesel Touareg in the T1/2 but if it goes wrong, it's going to cost. A lot. Do you need 7 seats of just 5? Is it actually going off road or straying no further than a field for parking?

you wont find a V8 in an RX model so you looking at the wrong car to start with. if it has to be primarily V8 then BM, Merc , Audi, Range Rover all come in V8 models so thats where you should be looking but i would skip them and go for a sleeper like this.. just cus its rare on UK roads and almost 400BHP.
