Hi Everyone. I am the proud new owner of an '02 IS 200 SE, one owner, totally immaculate, FLSH and only 25k miles. I find it a superb motor, power enough, great quiet cruiser and a little bit different from the ubiquitous Beemers and Mercs.

I am generally very pleased with my (very cheap) luxury car, except for the common Error 3 message on the CD. Does anyone have an answer for this?

Error 3 message on the CD player means its kaput! Some people have fixed then by taking the head unit to pieces and rebuilding it. Good Luck, oh and some pics would be nice

Welcome to the LOC, As Chris says the cd is basically past it..Sounds like a great car
