Ls460 On Ebay With Plenty Pics

Recommended Posts

I think it's quite obvious really.

Pay top dollar at a Lexus dealer, get a cracking warranty and peace of mind.

Pay considerably less at a car auction, eBay dealer, or privately, and back your judgement to come out in front..

Regardless of what the law says, small dealers are riskier than main dealers, as they can easily be here today and gone tomorrow, probably surfacing elsewhere with a new name.

Turned in to an interesting thread this, to say it was only supposed to be about some nice pics.

In the real world playing " hard ball " against a dealer could prove challenging ........... life is usually about negotiating ..... and most dealers are willing to help their customers with difficulties with a car they have sold them !

The letter of the law is great in theory .................... most situations in life that are fraught with challenges end-up being negotiated through ......... don't you think !!!

I agree better to mediate than sue but I was pointing out that you COULD have grounds to litigate, if the dealer refused to help. Also I was countering some of the 'advice' being given as to the legal position ie £1,000 value etc

Also 'playing hard ball against a dealer" is no different to playing hard ball against another other person or organization Provided your sure of your ground its not difficult to litigate in person (known as a LiP). All the information needed is on the web & the courts will help a LiP bring their action

Agreed way off topic & I'm partly to blame. Perhaps some of these posts can be put into a separate thread? :offtopic:

I wouldn't worry, can never understand the problem with going off topic, unless it's a reference thread - after all, in real life conversations jump about all over the place, especially if Mrs V is involved!!
