You are way out on the colour on the Mark IV, that is opal green and that is the car that as done 18k the subject got confusing when the discussion turned on suspicion over low mileage motors and lexmanic asked for pics of mine.

I believe the silver one dived in along the way.

sorry for the confusion, i've just recently joined this forum so when i spotted the 13000 miles lexus on eBay i posted it on here just to inform people and the topic just grew. i then replyed to the post from ambermarine about travelling a fair distance to view / buy a lexus which was how i bought mine - hence the pictureof the silver one which is really crystal quartz metalic ( or champagne gold to me ). hope this makes things clearer. Mike.

Don't worry about it Mike, I'm regularly confused.

Back on topic, the Cardiff car has been withdrawn from sale, apparently while they sort out the reg transfer.

Looking at the pics they linked to, I've seen better looking bodywork on a 200,000 miler - I guess the elderly owner had a few parking scrapes before hanging up his driving shoes - bit sad really, though i Suppose it comes to us all.

Yes, withdrawn for the moment. As for the bodywork, there do seem to be a few scrapes but if my previous experience is anything to go by these are often not as bad as they look in close up photos.
