Heater Matrix Noise

hi, how you all keeping ' after 2 years of ownership and my 3rd IS200, driving 82k without any probs apart from a Battery last winter it has began to loose engine coolant. im loosing half a litre every 100miles. when the car is cold I hear noises behind dash in the heater matrix which I assume is air lock or low coolant. when the car is warm there are no noises. the car has never overheated and always blows hot air from vents when at optimum temp. I have checked for leaks and not found any. bled the system many times in the correct manner. do I need a pressure test and what could the problem be ? the car is an auto at 132k current on odometer. any comments much appreciated -
