Bonnet Holder Upper Stick Holder Wanted

Seems like every time I touch this car something breaks.....

Filling up the screen wash and trying to put this stick that holds the bonnet up back the plastic thing on the underside of the bonnet breaks off.

I thought any car since 1990 had gas struts.

Anyway, ragged the whole stick out now as it was laid on the engine and rattled.

After the plastic thing that bolts to the underside of the bonnet if anyone comes across one please.

Brand new this is more or less what u'll have to pay. Sometimes come up a couple of quid cheaper, unless u can find someone with a spare or second hand

Cheers Mr Iceman. Ill break it soon enough again I'm afraid. Only had the bonnet up twice since I've bought the thing in December.

What a stupid idea though mounting it on the bonnet? Even misses cheap Celica has it laid flat on the cross member
