Steering (Fuse)

My steering has stopped going up down,in , out? theres no motor sound so i recone fuse , which one and were any other idea,s.

Is there just an " on / off " switch to the left of the column ? as in the Mk3

not sure will look in the am , its not the one under the dash on the right ,i think thats the alarm arm sound button ,is it easy to see

I don't really know but, if memory serves, it's a bit more serious than a fuse... It's a known problem and you need to search here and will find the details.

All I know is that on the Mk3 there's a switch on the left of the steering column that if accidentally pushed will revert the column to " non " mode.

THe same fuses power both the tilt and telescopic functions so if one is working the fuse will be OK.

After reading a topic on lexus forums usa, about the micro switch in the ignition i sprayed some silicon into it and left over nite , tilt is back working , just the reach to sort now.
