Just had a service and a safety check on my 03 ls4340, they gave me an advisery regarding unusual wear on rear brakes aparantly they were only 75%, not totaly sure what was meant but looking at the disk it would appear that the pads ar'nt in full contact with the disk any thoughts before I start replacing parts. thanks for looking.

Could you take a picture of the disc and post it up?

Hi Steve sorry about the long wait but the back has not allowed me to be as active as I would like.

Pulled a wheel off to-day took pictures but being the dummy I am I have'nt sussed how to copy them to this reply, there is about 10mm of disk on both sides of the INSIDE of the disk that is rusty and a further 10mm before the hub, I looked best I could at the pad and it looks to be covering the rusty part so I can't understand how it's not polishing the disk, Not up to sitting on the floor to take pads off I may just wait a while then replace both sets as they are more than 50% worn.
