Decided to give the car a wash yesterday and noticed all windows have a Lexus stamp apart from the passenger front one which is stamped Toyota.

Is this normal?

Sounds like it has been replaced at some time, possibly a smash and grab raid.

All mine say Toyota.

Agreed..think you have had one replaced. Smash and grab happened on my sons Astra...that one window was labelled differently. Wouldn't worry about it too much. How many times have you washed the car before you noticed it?

As Steve says, it's a dealer supplied glass that's been replaced at some point. However, it is actually quite odd, as when we get in dealer glass, it usually has Lexus etched on it, as opposed to Toyota (if it's for a Lexus of course). Even getting in a dealer glass for a Porsche Cayanne will have Porsche etched on it rather than VW, even though the base of the Cayanne is a Touareg. So for yours to have Toyota on it, must mean it was ordered from a dealer for a Toyota Altezza, rather than from Lexus for an IS.

It's nothing I worry about but I thought it was weird. If I knew this before I would've bought a glass of IanS200 when I was at his.

Bloody OCD.....

Yeah, don't park on any cracks in the tarmac!!!

jack Nicholson did a wonderful film about OCD.

It will be a replacement glass either for or off an Altezza. If we had known Ray you could have the full set for free, all went to scrap yard.
