How Many Miles Can 220D Go Up To

Recommended Posts

Hi bought a 220d Lexus car (first ever lexus), with 128k miles on the clock, but mechanic says it is in very good working order. How long realistically can i expect to get out of the car, my dad seems to think you can get 300k out of these cars.

Thanks for any advice. If they are known to die at 150k, i might sell and get a lower mileage one. I really love this car.

You may well achieve 300,000mls. There will be many factors input by the owner that have a bearing on this figure.

It is quite impractical to suggest that a car will die at 150,000......almost sounds like Logan's Run for cars!

As had been said, an engine could go on indefinitely if you continue to maintain it regardless of cost. There's nothing thAt couldn't be repaired or replaced but equally a time comes when it's just not economical to fix anymore.

I'd certainly expect over 200'000 from a well maintained Lexus.
