New Michelins! Which Ones?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I have michel.In pilot sport 2 - 225/40 ZR18 92Y tires on my lexus

Due to their age they are cracking and will need to be replaced for the MOT.

Do I go for a bother to get more ps2's now discontinued?

Do I get the new pilot sport 3?

Do I get the pilot super sport?

Also what are these abbreviations on the tyre "xl" and "mo"

Any suggestions kindly received

Joe

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

MO stands for Mercedes Original and these are the tyres put on new cars by Mercedes.

XL is Extra Load or reinforced side wall tyres.

I wouldn't buy the PS2 even if there is still stock about as the rubber still deteriorates on the shelf, if the replacement is PS3 that is the one to go for in my opinion.
