Another Reversing Camera Thought & Advice Needed

I was about to order a reversing camera today (and I know they're Chinese and may or may not last) but after looking at the back of the car I'm not sure where it would go. The only place I can think of is just below the bumper, but that may mean it gets affected by spray. Anyone got any ideas or experience?

There are loads on eBay but are all pretty much the same.

Think you have a projection where the boot top comes back to the area above the number plate?

That is where mine is on the is250. Reasonably protected from the elements there too!

Might be worth checking out in daylight. Take a peek at a 250 in a car park somewhere.

I am thinking maybe just above the number plate, it's the only space where it's protected. The only problem there is that it will have to lift up with the boot. I suppose that's not a problem if I can get the wires to move ok. The cameras seem to vary depending on supplier. I guess the thing to do as they're fairly cheap is just to get one and get on with it. I'll have a sneak around the rear end of other Lexus models, they're fairly common in this area.
