What Reg/year Is The Face Lift Model For The Is2200

Wanted to know what year does the facelift model start from, also does it still have problems that people complain about on the is220

And what year is the is250 face lift model?????

The second generation IS received a facelift on all models from 2009. That doesn't mean that every 09 plate onwards is a facelift model as the car could have been manufactured before 2009 but not registered until 2009.

I'm not getting involved in any more IS200d/IS220d issues as it always seems to divide and cause arguments. I'll let someone else give their opinion on the Lexus Diesel. Let's just say there's a reason they don't make one anymore

That all sounds correct to me. The 200d replacing the 220d. There were some engine/gearbox/emission changes probably aimed at getting into a lower road tax bracket. Think it was rated at 148g/km as opposed to the 175 of the 220.

I've not heard of many 200d's having the head gasket issue.
