Lexus Is 220D 2006 Issues

Hi guys and girls,

Firstly I'm new to this so if I've posted in the wrong area please forgive me and point me in the right direction.

I have recently bought a Lexus IS220d and I have two faults.

Firstly, the soft boot button has suddenly stopped working. Is it a quick easy fix or do I need to pay big bucks and send it to a garage?

Secondly, Driving this evening on a straight duel carriage way doing about 65mph, the engine management light, Red warning triangle, traction amber light all illuminated along with a message saying 'Check VSC'. Any ideas what this could be? I know VSC is Vehicle Stabilisation Check but what is it?

Other than that, I love my car!!!

Check vsc light can be brought on due to the dpf . Theres a lot of threads on this even a video on youtube on how to bypass it.

Thank you, I assume its safe to drive with the VSC warning on?

any ideas on the boot issue?

Boots fixed, it was the cut off button, Doh!!!

I dont own a 220d, but i assume being as its the emission side it would be ok to drive but id sort it asap.
