Rear Parking Sensors

Recommended Posts

The box on mine looks like this (green arrow) but the one in yours is probably slightly different as mine is only a two sensor setup. The volume control is next to the plug that connects to it.

Wow, you really have taken the lining out of your boot . . .

I'll have a look around and get some photos done as well, as I think with the sportcross and it being slightly newer, maybe the wires are a little easier to access . .

Anyway, Winters here now, so Snow Mode on . . .

It's really a 5 minute job to take the lining out. 3-4 poppers and the two luggage rings and it's out. Much better than bending it and risking creasing the thing.

Anyway, Winters here now, so Snow Mode on . . .

Dragged my 'Snow Mode' out of the shed and they're ready to go on tomorrow!

If only there was an easy way to remove/stop/kill the standard "reverse-engaged" beep. I don't have sensors, but the beep to tell me I'm in reverse is annoying as fook and incredibly unnecessary

Yeah, would be nice to just make it beep once or twice. From googling I've found it's part of the instrument cluster. This'll be coming out on mine when it's a bit warmer and I'll have a look if I can mute it a bit rather than disconnecting it completely.
