Hazard Warning Button Backlight

Should this button be illuminated or not?

I just hate it when things aren't right

Can't remember. But it does have a backlight bulb of some description. Its mentioned in my climate control bulbs post.

The light comes on when I press the button but it's not illuminated when inactive.

That's right Ray sounds like yours is fine. It should be on when pressed and if the headlights are turned on. It shouldn't be illuminated if inactive and headlights off.

Mine doesn't iluminate when my sidelights are on either, only noticed cos of this post and now its gonna bug me haha.

Getting a bit fed up with ongoing things I find that I don't like!

Procedure is the same as changing heater control bulbs.

Easy job and bulb is only available from dealer.
