Smoky Left Side

Hi guys i have noticed on start up ang for about half an hour the left hand side exhaust smoke alot on idle. i havd been useing cleaner ? but just seems a bit exessive.

Does it have an aftermarket exhaust? They join to a single pipe in the middle and then split again, which would tend to suggest moisture in one side at the rear of the system.

no looks original,i had the same thing with a bmw740i?

its hard to tell being so cold , if i reve it no big puffs and it does not happen in thd morning only eve?

There is a distinct odor to oil smoke and a tint of blue where as water vapor is no difference to the steam that comes out of your kettle when boiling and white in colour. Mike

The water condensation is very transparent and white in colour where as oil smoke has a definite tinge of blue and smells just like burnt oil. Mike

What I was trying to say was, as the pipes merge and then split under the car, any oil burning would come out of both pipes, not one side, i.e. the left pipe is not exclusively connected the left bank, if you see what I mean.
