Lexus Insurance

Just had a quote for renewing my car insurance for the IS200 - Bell Direct quoted £285. Elephant.co.uk quoted £235! Surely this cannot be beaten - can it?

I know circumstances dictate - but are there any other companies I should try?

dont bother... at those prices that is the chepest i have ever seen it... your postcode must be fort knox

Hi there gib,

From experience I would make sure that you are fully comp with no claims protection !

If those quotes are for this I'd be extremely surprised.

Yep,

I am fully comp with 7 years NCB which is protected - £150 excess

I do live in Fife - not so many thieves around here

thats some cheap quotes, you guys dont even want to know what i have to pay. but then again when i was driving my rover 400 1.8td, it costs the same as it does now for the lex. however for some reason they did class the o'l rover as sports car as they said "it has a turbo badge". Oh and insurance on a ford mustang saleen was cheaper than the rover as well. go figure, insurance companies must make up these figures on the fly.

I'm paying around £400 for any driver (over 25), fully comp, protected on my 300, but then I must qualify for ol' geezer discount now ;)

Wanna laugh? Guy at work tried insuring a new GSX-R600 and was quoted £2,500 by one company... I kid you not! (And that's on a bike worth just £6,500 new!)
