In the last week I have gone to unlock my IS250C in the morning and all the windows have been open !

Now I'm aware if I unlock the car and keep the unlock button on the remote depressed the windows will open and the car will unlock, but in both instances the car was still locked but all the windows open ?

I cant even close the windows with the remote like I used too with my old car by keeping the lock button on the remote pressed ?

The first time it happen I just put it down to the possibility of my accidentally pressing the remote button whilst in my pocket but now its happened again and I cant replicate the situation but holding the buttons I'm confused and a little concerned.

Can anyone help ?

Have you got a spare remote, might be worth isolating the current one out of the way for a week to see if it still happens with the spare.

Could be a faulty fob. Worth just ruling it out of the equation.

If you have identically pressed the unlocked button and held it long enough to open the windows as well, then if you haven't opened the car, the doors will lock, leaving the windows open. The later models have had this option (opening windows using the remote ) disabled as default. May be worth going to the dealer and asking them to disable it and see if that helps

Yes the new models have it turned off, I have just had my dealer turn on CLOSE only by holding the lock button, that way I cant accidently open them as I have done before! but i can close them if they are left down without having to press the ignition button.
