I thought all LS430s came with bluetooth from the factory?

only later 2004 + models

OP have you got any pics?

Is the extra road noise from the air suspension with the premium pack?

I have a standard 430 and it's a quiet as the 400 that proceeded it.

Shes a beauty. Silver is a great colour as it never dates.

You must be very proud.

If you wouldn't mind, could you let me know what MPG you're getting for town and motorway?

There's not many of these 2004 6 speeds on the site, and i'm not sure if mine is running as well as it could be, as my mpg seems lower than it should.

I'd really appreciate if you could take a minute to respond to my question.

Cheers

I'm getting 30 mpg on a run and 25 mixed.

2004 ls430 with 80k. I'm quite a gentle driver.

hi

i havent done many long runs - mainly short and local and its showing 22.5

hope this helps

Cheers, I think i'm hoping for 30 mpg at a steady 80-85 and it's not happening so far!

Might change the o2 sensors and see if that changes things.

its for credit cards lol :) or similar sized cards

Really?

Does the card stick out a little when you slot it in, or does it go in completely? Didn't think anyone would want to leave a payment card sticking out in plain sight

Why do people just make up stuff on the internet when they know nothing about it? Just say, I don't know.

It's for the ET toll road card that people use for toll roads in Japan....

Is it just a holder for the card or is there some in car electronics involved ipwn.

Genuine question I'm actually interested.....sad, but true lol

Posted

hi

ok the handbook states it a card holder - the card sticks out a little when inserted - no electronics involved

ipwn - sorry if i offended you in any way

Indeed, its a bit like an oyster card holder but just for toll roads.

Same in china.

So same as the card holder in the coin draw in the mk3 then. Thanks for the info.

abs66 ............ I have just found mine too !!!

BUT is the more open holder useful for direct reading of the card by whatever the technology is that peers through your windscreen to read the card to automatically pay tolls ............. thinking about when I was in a buddy's car in Singapore a few years ago and his payment card was on the dash and auto read whenever he passed thru' toll charging areas / roads / carparks and the like.
