Bluetooth + Reverse Camera

Hello all.My brother is looking to buy 430, and we found a very good low milage one 2004 model. However it has no Bluetooth or reverse camera. can he buy and fit them if he buys this car? and how expensive would that be? Also this car is almost 9 years old, yet has only 30,000 miles. What is the thinking regarding the timing belt on this. any comments welcome. thanks bilmac

I'm sure the reverse camera was fitted to the newer facelift Ls430 from 04 onwards, maybe yours is a late 03 model. Don't know if you can retrofit one of the camera's.

The timing / cam belt i believe should be changed at the 90k miles mark on VVT-i engines, but my word is not gospel on this, just recall reading it somewhere on this forum.

Reversing camera kits can be got from 80 euros bt kits about 100 plus.

If the belt is 9 years old, I would be changing it if it was me, just my opinion.

I think that eBay may be your friend for these items, never purchased any so cannot vouch for them as to how / if they work.
