Tmc Dissappeared

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I have scoured the forum and cant find anything similar ...

My is220d (09) has the full screen multimedia pack, and sat nav. In the manual, there is the option to either switch on, or off, traffic updates / rerouting. It says that in the UK i must have the ability to receive Classic FM, which I do.

What I dont have, however, is the icon in the menu to get to any of the settings ! in the book there are six icons, with TMC being lower left. On my car, there just a blank space. Now, I don't know if this is relevant, but I have only recently updated to the 2012 disk. I am sure that the icon was there before, although I may just be losing it ...

Can anyone either tell me how to get that option back, or alternatively tell me I am mad ?

You've not had much help here!

You may want to try the following.

To get the RDS- TMC indicator to display.

"Show traffic icons" in SET UP/TRAFFIC must be active.

That is to say, all on or some icons selected.

Does that help?
