Rediculous Pop-Up At The Bottom Of The Screen

Anyway that that rediculous popup bar at the bottom of the forum can be disabled? (the one that says click here for news,videos& galeries - and the twitter/facebook links). Is it a user setting, as It is extremely annoying. No issues with it being at the bottom forum page, but not stuck to the bottom of the browser window so you can't get away from it.

It seems to make scrolling the pages very slow on my laptop. Ok on a more meaty desktop PC though.

Also on the mobile version the buttons to go to the next page or previous page are covered up by an advert 95% of the time! So annoying as you can't get onto the next page! Grrrrr!!!

This is what I mean. "next" and "previous" are covered by an add for "lowest prices gauranteed"

It seems to be a recent 'feature'. Drives me nuts too.

I'm not sure whether it produces any revenue for the site or not, but I hope they find an alternative soon.

Press the hide button bottom right - looks like a down arrow.

I agree with you, most sites are covered in pop ups and ads these days, can't see it changing any time soon though.
