Ls600H-L Gas Conversion

I get just short of 33 mpg on long runs. 600h SWB. I'm still at the stage where I use the hybrid display as a computer game, trying to go as far and as fast as possible on Battery. I can get to 40 mph on Battery on the flat.

Paul, like you I wanted this car as my final retirement motor. No regrets. Try a SWB if you can find one, the extra 5" on the L makes a big difference. The SWB just feels nimbler, (Iv'e had both) it also has anti-roll bars which the L does not.

As to economy/ecology.

I guess the ultimate car would then be a Citroen Mehari (or 2CV) with electric power?

Plastic body weighing 400 lbs......fun to drive.

(No leather/air-con (open the windows)/but, hey, it's the economy!
