Compressor Fully Recovered

Thanx to our friends from TTE who were at JAE, my compressor is now fully recovered from its freak illness :D

If they hadn't have been at JAE I wouldn't of know anything was wrong, thankfully I recieved some replacement parts this morning and I have now replaced them so everything is working okay now.

Just in time for "Midlands Mini Meet 4" on Sunday.

Apparently the return spring on the top by the compressor itself wasn't operating properly and therefore sticking open breifly before closing

According to Gerald (TTE man) if it did stick open it would of caused some kind of back pressure in the system acting like a air brake (not good)

Anyway I replaced the bits this morning and everthing seems to be working fine now.

No he new what was wrong, cause I found him fiddling with it (the return spring that is)

The case contains a small hand held computer which plugs into the vehicles ECU and can show up any fault codes ect, it is also used sometimes in rare cases to reprogramme ECU's.
