Looks Like A Mint Ls 400 69K Miles

Recommended Posts

I saw this too. Don't they scrub up well !!!

Lovely looking car but the mileage for a 22 y/o is almost unbelievable and I wonder if a cooler has been fitted re the towbar.

Very tempting nonetheless and probably a great " entry " model for a LS400 beginner.

Looking at the front two seats it seems to bare out the mileage and the seller does say he has FSH. For £900 its almost worth buying and keeping for Sundays only.

The towbar is probably worth half the value alone!

Wheels look good for a change, no picture of the driver's seat though as I would like to see if there is any wear.

I wonder if the timing belt has been done 3 times based on the age of the car?

Fairly certain this is the car that was featured a couple of years ago when a local garage refurbered it from the bottom up including a full respray .

The price for the job was that the car had to sit in the showroom as an example of excellence for an agreed period of time.

It as to be the best example of the Mark1 on that history alone.

Actually this is a different car, The one you're thinking of belonged to Pete Haylands brother. It was for sale on here last year when it had done 124,000 miles. Hard to believe there are two in such condition.
