A little worrying don't you think. I have now got into the habit of making sure my car is securely locked before I walk away from it now.

Yep!! if it means you have to pull the door handle aswell just to double check before walking away! but no matter how secure a car is, car thiefs will always be one step ahead if they know what they doing.

We are obviously not paying enough subsidy to these recently added EU countries so they are boosting that by stealing UK vehicles, nice world we live in!

Yep!! if it means you have to pull the door handle aswell just to double check before walking away!

That won't work if you have the key/pad on your person with a lot of modern cars .because the car door will open as it recognises the device

Dave, I think that whe you have locked the car, if you pull on the handle within 3 seconds the door won't open, therefore the check will have been carried out.

I should have known that there would be some sort of check available
