Oops … Over Filled The Air Conditioning ...

Recommended Posts

I over filled the air-conditioning as the gauge seemed not to work when filling, I disconnected and checked and it's around 80 psi

This is a 1995 GS 300.

Air con is still working but would like to drain a bit off….

How do I get some fluid out again ?

Thanks….

Get it reduced pronto.

Whilst illegal, vent to atmosphere like you would letting the air out of a tyre, if you don't have access to an air con unit.

Is the gauge one of those type included in the kit from Halfords? It should indicate what the pressure should normally be at - 35psi ±5 psi, irrc.
