Early Ls400/celsior Engined Altezza Code 31 Mass Air Flow

Hi just put a celsior v8 in my Altezza :)

Ran very well for 4 days but rich then I was working on it one night and now won't run very well at all.

Revs up to 2000rpm backfires out all holes,

suspected timing so replaced belt ok before and ok now.

Checked ecu for leaking caps, looks ok

Does anyone have an air flow I could try, buy or hire to hear her run sweat

I'm in dorset

what type of air filter are you using? If something like a K&N then possibility too much oil was used which can get on the MAF sensor.

You could try cleaning first, your one is a little different so not sure if the following procedure will work:
