Rx400H In White

Hello, I am thinking about upgrading my RX300 for a RX400h, but will not do it unless I can find one in white. I know it's not everyones colour, but it's mine !!

I have actually found one on Autotrader which is on sale at Cargiant in London, but unfortunately it is a very low spec (no sat nav, no auto tailgate opener etc, once you have such luxuries, it's hard to do without !!). I expect it must have been a special order to see one in white !!

If anyone happens to come across one for sale, I would much appreciate being informed about it.

If you are chopping in your current RX against a hybrid I'd be interested in what you are offered for it..

Look mate, it's a 2003 well looked after, full Lexus History, front and rear RELIABLE parking sensors, with sat nav, power tailgate, Bluetooth, ipod/android connection etc, ok, it's got 100k on the clock ,but that's nothing to a Lexus dealer when you are buying, but when you are trading in...forget it !!... so I will be lucky to get a balloon and a whistle when I trade it in, whether it be a Lexus main dealer or a independant.

It's amazing how much a Lexus RX is when your buying it, it's a totally different story when you are selling one...but, hey, we all know that, otherwise don't by a RX :)

Tell me about it, my IS300 is in exactly the same boat!

Looking to change to an RX but undecided whether to go same/similar in terms of reg/mileage, or push the boat out and get something considerably newer (even considering a hybrid as well) but knowing that when the time comes to to change again, it will be exactly the same story again.

I have just spent the last hour researching this option and it's a real possibility. I have watched many videos on Youtube and if it's done properly to a high standard, then it's worth getting done. I have emailed a company with a branch in Southampton for a quote, along with a few detailed questions.

Excellent, I was very close to getting my last car (a smart roadster) wrapped to change from blue to white, but then wife got preggers and had to part ex it for the Rx. Let us know how it goes...

Theres also a guy called David Yu at evo magazine who had his GT-R wrapped, you can look up his reports on the evo website I think.

Hey Bobby... not sure whether you are still interested but I have just seen that a white RX400h has come up for sale at Lexus in Swindon:

It's a Dec'08 with ivory leather, multi media, 20,200 miles for £20,995.

Cheers Daniel, couldnt get your link to work, but I have found it on the Lexus Used Car search and its also on Autotrader along with another white one priced at £13k. £13k is a bit too low for what I want and £20k is a smidge over my budget, which is a bummer, because the £20k one has the ivory leather and most, if not all white ones I have come across has a black interior, which I don't like. Ideally, if it had front and rear parking sensors and a fitted towbar, it would be exactly what I want. Call me fussy and a pain in the a**. But I intend to hold onto this for a good few years, a bit like my current RX300, which has served me well. Swindon is only three junctions down the M4 from me, so I may DRAG the wife out for a shopping trip to Swindon and stumble across the Lexus dealer !! Cheers again for the heads up.
