I wonder how many years it will be before 460s are affordable in the way 400s are now. The 430s have to got to get down to silly prices first.

It has to bottom out somewhere, I guess if the 430 starts eventually coming in at 400 prices, then what prices will the 400 be going for?!

It seems that over a certain age (say 10-12 years), price is determined mostly by condition and history. So an early 'new model' can be as cheap as a late 'old model' - you don't pay more for having the updated car. This has started to happen with the earliest 430s, which can be picked up for less than some 400s, and presumably with late 430s and early 460s, too - though it's going to be a while before I can move up to either of those. Meanwhile, maybe a decent 400 will always be worth a certain amount (say £1000-1500)? These days £500 is banger money (or even spares or repair money), so a decent, MOT'd Lex has got to be worth two or three times that. (I hope!)

But don't the wheels look ever so similar to those on the Mk1 ........... timeless and classy :lookaround:
