Need Help Guys On The Actual Model/spec Of My Is250

Recommended Posts

Hi,Guys.

Need some help here.

i got my IS250 last week stunning car :)

i did have a diesel 220d last year for a while but just never got used to the diesel.but always said if i coiuld get a good IS250 petrol id jump at it.

but im unsure just what model it is..

its got full leather electric heated seats..leather hand stitched steering wheel..18 inch lexus alloys.the body shape looks lower than the 220d at the front. and its got a wider body shape around the wheels??and rear lip spoiler..car is painted argento ice..

ive put an SR on here. but not sure.it could possibly have maybe the sports package or part of on it or performance pack ?

any ideas guys?

It may well be an SR. These are the only ones I have seen with factory fitted rear lip spoilers. Best way would be to give your local lexus a call with your reg and vin number handy and they should be able to tell you exactly what it is.

Just a quick question, is it Auto or manual?

Another possibility is that its been done up by previous owner using after market kit. do you have any pics?

Hi,thanks for the reply. yes might have to give them a ring.but looks more and more like the SR spec..its manual.yes i was also thinking maybe f sport bits added?

but, what makes me think its a out and out model spec is the body shape. seems lower lights look a bit different.and as i said in the post earlier.the shape over the wheels etc.seems like its got a diff body kit,,so,points towards SR or SPORT

i will get some pics up. but away till weekend working so it will be then

It is not an SR as they did not come with electric or electric seats. Its probably an SE or possibly and SE-L with the GFX kit fitted to it. I cant believe people buy cars without knowing exactly what they have bought :msn-oh:

Hi guys thanks for the further comments and help .F A.. the problem with some cars are they do have variations within a model IE: is250 could have performance pack added ?.. etc.so its not as clear cut as you would think.and i have already had a 220D so knew what i was looking for.a petrol IS250 which i have now got.:) i was just asking about the bodykit etc that doesnt match the straight se spec. like the leather seats bigger alloys and different bodykit which looks lower and wider than the usual se body
