Another Newbie With A Couple Of Issues

hi guys,

im abit newbie to this forum but have been a member of another forum for a while when i owned my old car.

i baught my 52 plate is200 se 4 weeks ago on monday and have been absolutly loving it, in this past week iv had a couple of issues that have arrose that i cant seem to put my finger on. the steering wheel sometimes shudders like when a wheel weight has feel of but it doesnt do it constantly it sometimes stops when i hit a bump in the road with the o/s/f wheel and also theres a knocking from the same side but have been reading about this problem on here and found that its a common occurance and not many people have solved it :s

any help is much appreciated

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I would check all the suspension parts on that side, upper arm,lower arm, lower balljoint, anti rollbar link.

Also check the brake caliper for seized pins.

thanks steve, i checked for any play in the ball joints and found nothing but did notice the brake was binding and thinks its caused the disk to warp which is causing it but i can't feel it through the pedal. will get the brakes sorted and see if that cures it :)
