Warning Chimes On Ls400 Mk4.

Could anyone please tell me why I am suddenly getting two chimes or 'dings' after I switch off the engine .......what do they mean ? (there are no lights on, doors, windows etc open)

Also, my centre console screen has started to play up and not come on sometimes, are these two issues related ?

Really grateful for any help given and much appreciation in advance.

the centre consoles are pretty robust and trouble free - it might be worth taking out and checking the connections at the back - failing that i would just replace it with a second hand unit - one should be easily available as these rarely give trouble therfore the breakers struggle to sell them.

The chimes might be the sunroof not shut properly - open and close it fully bothe ways and see if that makes a difference

Hi.

I have the same as you and have tried the sun roof test to no avail but would still not rule that one out.

I am waiting for a dry day to be able to locate the sensors.
