Interior Switches - Nightime Illumination

Hi all,

Carrying a little service of my interior switches and dash lights as some of them are no longer illuminating at night with the headlights/sidelights switched on. Question is before I seek replacement could I have some help from members confirming which of the switches below should light up as I believe not all illuminate at night?

1) Headlight height adjuster

2) Headlight washer button

3) Drivers electric window switches

4) Drivers locking door button

Following on from the above, is it easier to replace the switches than it is to replace the failed LEDs inside them? What does a main dealer do when servicing these items?

the bulbs are called grain of wheat bulbs

and you just need to undo the lamp contact

and just wrap the new bulb around the lamp holder. easy job and takes 2 minutes a switch

it's the white and brown rings that are the bulb holders and you give them a quarter turn and they pop out
