Starting Engine After Battery Removal

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have looked though the manual for my GS430 and some Internet searching but can't seem to find the answer.

On my GS300 I had to put the ignition on for 6 mins then turn off to start the car.

My GS430 doesn't have a sticker in the engine bay with any instructions, so I was wondering if anyone knows the starting procedure after Battery removal for the GS430?.

Thanks.

Ian.

Thanks Rick,

I think the reason there is no sticker is because there is nothing to do.

I connected the Battery and switched the ignition on to see if I had power, and then though let's just try starting it, and it started straight away.

Cheers.

Ian.

My GS430 has a yellow sticker under the bonnet with the same instructions. When my Battery was flat the engine started as normal on installing a new Battery but I recently removed Battery for 2 weeks and it then required me to follow the restart instructions......key to on etc etc.

It is all to do with the immobiliser system.
