good find! Was looking for that video before I went and bought my car. However bit glad I didnt see it as I disagree about the driving position! The seat goes quite low (im 5'10)! However, think overall quite a good review!

Awkward driving position?! That's news to me.

I know I'm going to get into trouble for saying this, but I'd have listed the discontinuing of the diesel as a 'pro', not a 'con'.

Dons flameproof suit...

Yes the "awkward driving position" was a ridiculous comment. I'm 6' 4" and it's fine and very comfortable. Perhaps the short reviewer wanted a seat that raised up even higher? ;-)

Yes, I've never had any problems with the driving position. It goes low enough considering it has all of those electric motors underneath which normally prevents the seats from being lowered any further. I also have to disagree with the interior looking bland. I happen to think that it looks more modern than the equivalent BMW 3 Series and the current C- class.

I do agree that there is not as much space as an A4 but then the A4 is nearly the size of the GS! But yes overall a good review f :D

I'm 190cm and I do think the seat position is a bit high. I wish the seat could go a bit lower. My seat goes almost allway back and if I straight my back my head is touching the roof. By the way, I have sunroof. Also, the bottom of the seat is too short to offer any good support of the legs and the lumbar support is too high too. So on long joury I'm moving the seat position alltime and my back hurts. I think it could be great if IS has the seat from the CT200h or the new GS. I've tried both and they are so much better than the seat in IS.

Ps, I do think its strange that the girl in the review think the seat is high. She looks short. :D

So you are about 193cm? And you don't have problem with the seat? Can you post a pic of you sitting in the driver seat?

I guess it comes to down where someone's height is. If it's in the legs then the headroom might be sufficient even if they're 190cm+.

Obviously, a sunroof also eats into the headroom a little which could make all the difference for some people.

@UpSideDown...I can't get a picture at present but my IS250 has no sunroof so my head doesn't touch the roof. Longest journey todate was Berkshire to the Scottish borders and no problems at all for me with seat comfort. Thanks.

Must be the sunroof then. But I still think I sit high in the IS. I prefer the seat position in CT, nice and low.

Tony, thanks for drawing our attention to this.

Good and fair report I think. Well presented.

13 speakers? - not on my MY11 F-Sport. Only 8 I believe. Still excellent though.

Power shifter - not understood by the presenter. Only selects a RANGE of gears. Not like for example the DSG and PDK systems on the VWs and Porsches.

Seating - not a problem for me at all. I love it. As good as the VW GTI MkV I had before. They were really good.

Rear seats - agree they are restricted. But how often to you have adults in the back?

Bland interior - I think it is striking. Very up-market.

Argento

p.s. not sure if the first attempt in replying got through .....

Sorry if I've sent a duplicate.

You should have 13. 4 sets of 3 ways in the doors and one sub on the rear shelf. Only the Base model has 8

F.A., thanks for this.

Good.

I'll do a "stock-take" this weekend to find the 13!

Thanks, Argenton

F.A,, you're dead right, of course.

13 speakers in total.

No more room in the doors for any more! Ha-ha.

Thanks, Argento
