Hi guys,

need some help with my IS200. Been getting the Engine management light for the past couple of weeks.

It keep coming up with the same fault everytime i clear the fault. Bank 1 Sensor 1 fault.

I've replaced the sensor but the warning light will turn itself back on after a short while.

Just wanted to double check if i changed the right sensor.

If anybody could grab me a picture of clear cut diagram.

thanks for your help

There are two in the engine bay, one in each manifold (one manifold is on the front 3 cylinders - bank 1, the other on the rear 3 cylinders - bank 2). You want the front one of those two, may be hidden under the heatshields on top of the manifolds (I don't have an IS so can't look). There is also one sensor under the car under the front seat area - which is not the one you are after.

im having a similar problem..i had sensor1 bank 1 and sensor 2 bank1....had it checked ,changed and within a few weeks it came back on again....same codes.because of parts warranty i had them changed again with fault codes cleared.(all done at a lexus dealership).

once cleared the light stays off for a while and eventually reappears.

everyone i speak to is confused.

im also being told that either the third sensor on the back end is going or my catalytic converters are going??...help me someone please!!!
