Double Feint Beep Back From Is200 After Unlocking

Hi

I have a 2000 IS200 and when I go to unlock it with the key fob it gives me back a feint "beep beep" so I have to lock it again with the key fob and then unlock it again - no beeps the second time.

My wife drove it the other day without locking and unlocking it a second time and an alarm went off in the boot.... for hours! Car drove fine for her (but with the alarm going off in the boot)

Any ideas

Cheers

Note: the feint "beep beep" noise is coming from the boot area ..........

I Have the same beep but the alarm does not sound. Other than that it sound like exactly the same issue. 2 beeps when unlocking the car with the key fob, but no beeps if I lock and unlock it again. This started after the car alarm went off on a hot day and I had to uncuple the Battery to silence it as I was not familiar with the process to turn it off at that time. Its been doing it every time since I cuppled up the Battery again. Did you get any resolution to the issue?
